Toddler Classes
Toddler Ballet (2-4 yrs)
This class is an outlet for your dancer to use their creativity while learning beginner ballet steps. Toddler ballet is a step up from dance with me, where dancers do the class independently without a parent/ guardian.
Beginner Classes
Beginner Ballet (4-7 yrs)
Your dancer will learn basic ballet steps and creative movement. This class focuses on creative expression and dance technique in a fun and uplifting setting.
Beginner Jazz/ Hip Hop (4-7 yrs)
In this fun, upbeat, high energy class dancers will learn the quick movements of Hip Hop as well as the smoother movements of Jazz. This is the first level offered for this style and is perfect for younger elementary kids!
Level I Classes
Ballet I (8-11 yrs)
This class is the level after beginning ballet. Students will be introduced to more challenging movements and learning more terminology and dance skills. Class is structured with barre, center work, and across the floor movements.
Jazz/ Hip Hop I (8-13 yrs)
Dancers will build on skills learned in beginning jazz/ hip hop! This upbeat class will focus on introducing new skills with faster beats/ rhythms. This class used to be titled: "Jazz Fusion", but we are changing the name to stay consistent across levels!
Lyrical I (8-11 yrs)
This class will combine modern dance with some ballet technique for a free-flowing, full-body movement and expressive class. It will be fun strengthening and beautiful! This is our first level of lyrical, perfect for dancers new to the style!
Creative Worship I (8-12 yrs)
This class is focused on worship, both through choreographed dances and improvisational dance. The class will grow dancers in their dance skills, while allowing them to experience the power of worshiping God through movement. A portion of the class will be spent in a mentorship program, where we will pray, discuss and dream about how we can use worship and dance ministry to impact our city.
Tap I (4-10 yrs)
Dancers will learn fundamental Tap steps and gain an understanding of rhythm and dancing to a beat. Tap I is our first level of tap. This level is recommended for younger dancers or dancers new to tap!
Younger Adaptive Dance (4-17 yrs)
This class is for those with physical and/or cognitive disabilities. This class focuses on creating community, stretching, learning ballet steps and having fun!
Level II Classes
Ballet II (11-15 yrs)
Intermediate Ballet class, students will grow in their understanding of Ballet technique and movement. 3-4 years prior training recommended. Class transitions to 1 hour 15 minutes.
Hip Hop II (8-12 yrs)
Focus of this class is to learn how to move in new different ways, body awareness, choreography retention, and of course fun! Dancers will learn how to find and move to the beat of the music while also adding their own individualism to the steps.
Contemporary II (8-13 yrs)
This introductory class will have steps similar to jazz, but also add moves from modern, lyrical, and ballet. The focus of the class is to connect emotion to movement.
Creative Worship II (12-18 yrs)
This class is our second level of our creative worship class! Creative worship is focused on worship, both through choreographed dances and improvisational dance. The class will grow dancers in their dance skills, while allowing them to experience the power of worshiping God through movement. Tap II (8-13 yrs)
Tap II is recommended for dancers in between our beginning and advanced tap class. This level will build on skills learned in tap I and will introduce new skills with faster beats!
Musical Theater (8-14 yrs)
​The class builds a foundation of movement skills commonly found in musical theater choreography and movement improvisation. Combinations will give students the opportunity to weave acting and storytelling into their dancing while exposing students to diverse musical theater styles.
Advanced Classes
Advanced Ballet (12-20 yrs)
Advanced Ballet class, students will grow in their understanding of Ballet technique and movement. Dancers will continue to learn and expand on their training. 5-6 years prior training recommended. Class transitions to 1 hour 30 minutes.
Advanced Jazz/ Hip Hop (12-20 yrs)
This dynamic and exhilarating class seamlessly blends the intricate techniques of jazz dance with the urban vibes of hip hop, creating a unique and electrifying dance experience. This class is designed for dancers seeking to elevate their skills to new heights. Embrace the syncopated rhythms and soulful expressions of jazz while immersing yourself in the energetic and rhythmic cadences of hip hop.
Advanced Contemporary (12-20 yrs)
The class explores the fluidity of contemporary dance, emphasizing organic movements, floor work, and intricate partnering. Dancers are encouraged to push boundaries, experiment with weight shifts, and embrace the freedom of self-expression. Music ranging from classical compositions to cutting-edge electronic beats serves as a catalyst for exploration, providing a diverse sonic landscape for movement invention.
Advanced Tap (11-18 yrs)
This is our most advanced level of Tap! This class will build on steps from previous levels, and will push dancers to learn more challenging rhythms, musicality, and steps.
Adult Classes
Adult Ballet (17+ yrs)
We will learn beginner ballet steps before moving to more intermediate ballet steps. This is a beginner ballet class with an inviting environment so you can have fun learning a new dance style!
Adult Contemporary (17+ yrs)
This class will have steps similar to jazz, but also add moves from modern, lyrical, and ballet. The focus of the class is to connect emotion to movement. No prior experience is needed in this class!​
Adult Adaptive Dance (18+ yrs)
​This class is for those with physical and/or cognitive disabilities. This class focuses on creating community, stretching, learning ballet steps and having fun!
Pointe Classes
Pre-pointe/ Pointe I (11-18 yrs)
Pre-Pointe is a specialized class to strengthen the muscles in the feet to prepare them for pointe work. In this class we use different exercises to develop these muscles. Pre-Pointe usually begins around age 12 when the bones have slowed their growing, but placement is at the discretion of the teacher. We typically work in pre-point for at least a year before we begin pointe class with pointe shoes. Pointe 1 is the very first Pointe level where students get Pointe shoes and begin to learn basic pointe steps and strengthening. Taking Ballet 2 or Advanced Ballet class alongside this class is required.
Pointe II (11-22 yrs)
​Pointe class is an advanced class a dancer can take after completing Pre-Pointe classes. This is the an exciting milestone for a ballet dancer, a class that you train many years to be able to join. Taking the Advanced Ballet class alongside this class is required. Pointe shoes are required.
